WISE (Women in Social Enterprise) is a newly formed group to support women in social enterprise to provide networking opportunities for like minded women. WISE was devised with the aim of supporting and promoting the role of women who are involved or developing social enterprise activities.
By getting together a group of high profile women in the social enterprise arena, we will raise and debate issues that will help us to offer the best in social enterprise support to established and developing enterprises.

In 1996, a Worcestershire mother had an idea to help families who did not have the financial flexibility to provide a wide range of toys and educational equipment for their children. The Borrowers Toy Library was conceived to meet this need and support families with young children with a toy and equipment lending service.
