WISE at The Fold» On Tuesday 9th June Women in Social Enterprise held a special evening of fun and laughter at The Fold in Bransford.

Dance For Joy Workshops» Following the success of her sell out show Joy Simmonds from Dance 4 Joy is putting on a workshop on the 11th July at the Public Hall in Bromyard.

Social Enterprise Workshops» Following the success of the first four workshops held on sustainability, Midwest Rural Enterprise will be running a series of follow-up sessions to help voluntary or community organisations, including social enterprises, to look at their marketing and promotional strategies.

Midwest Rural Social Enterprise Video» Women in Social Enterprise are taking part in a new film that is being produced by Midwest Rural Enterprise CIC. The DVD will help people to understand Social Enterprise and how to run one successfully.

Success for W.I.S.E member» On Saturday 25th April Joy Simmonds took Bromyard by storm by putting on a spectacular song and dance show that wowed a packed auditorium at Bromyard’s Conquest Theatre.

WISE launch evening» Women in Social Enterprise was launched on the 11th March at the Falcon Hotel in Bromyard. The event was attended by women who run or are looking to start a Social Enterprise.

Using a Social Enterprise approach to ensure success.» In 1996, a Worcestershire mother had an idea to help families who did not have the financial flexibility to provide a wide range of toys and educational equipment for their children. The Borrowers Toy Library was conceived to meet this need and support families with young children with a toy and equipment lending service.
